The gameplay is unique. It cannot be compared to your game.

The user interface is very easy leaving you to worry about the strategy and let the computer do the drudge.

Operational Art of War covers everything reasonably well, but a wargame like Korsun Pocket covers the Korsun area during 1944 much better than (at the very least) any scenario that has been made for Operational Art of War. Due to the fact that it's covering a specific set of operations the experience is much more polished and appropriate.

War games that cover a specific battle like KP tend to do a better job incorporating the special circumstances that were peculiar to the given battle into it's game play and IMO this is what makes it worth buying in addition to ACOW. Also different games systems allow the player to see the battle from different perspectives.

As a fan of both games I would recommend having both in your wargame library but if you are still sceptical download The Ardennes Offensive 2 (TAO2) from Fileplanet or other site and it will give you a very good idea of what the KP system is all about.

I have several PzC titles and now KP. I like them both and I will play PBEM with both. They're different and similar. I am really enjoying KP right now ... its a very refreshing change from PzC ... but I still like PzC and I have several PBEM campaigns on going which I will continue to play.

Expand you mind ... buy KP ... like it was mentioned in another response, your games library has room for more than one

I think the question SHOULD BE why not buy it!

Its a great game (look at the reviews), sure if you look hard enough, as with any game, you will find a small part that you would like to be better. But thats one of the great things about the game, I'm sure that patches (if that is the correct term) will be showing up soon, and you have the advantage of some input into that very thing. Along with the editor that comes with the game, need I say more.......
