In my alternative reality bulge, in overcast weather, in predominantly open fields terrain, US air support has achieved an astonishing kill ratio of almost one German AFV destroyed for approximately every two US planes commencing their attack.

IMHO, from what I think I understood from what I've read on the battle in the West in 44/45, particularly in the last ten years, my take is that the threat from the air was the biggest disruption, followed by soft skinned vehicle losses and the morale effect. Actual AFV losses were far less than were reported at the time. But we've all seen the photo of an upside-down Tiger II in a crater so......

Decision time...that's why they pay me the big bucks.
