HQ assignment marker?

Hi!
I find that, as much as I love this series, I spend a disproportionate amount of time working out HQ unit attachments.
This would be waaaaaaay, easier if...
HQs were identified by a unique colour band, pip, border, or (ideally) NATO unit symbol on their unit counters, and units assigned to that HQ shared that identifier on their unit counters.
A visual cue would simplify identifying HQ unit assignments.
Whilst it's easy enough to inspect a given HQ's assignments, when comparing multiple HQs, it becomes a bit of a headache.
Would it be possible to mod this into the game?
I assume that it probably isn't, because I can't help but think I'm not the first person who'd appreciate such a feature. I find it's pretty much the only piece of important information not readily discernible at a glance in a game that otherwise does a great job of making most information available at a glance.
But ya never know!
I apologise if this has already been discussed.
Cheers!
