[Question Only] Wake Homing in Command?

Are wake homing torpedoes modeled as such in Command? If so, how far behind the ship does the wake persist'?
I can't really tell the difference between wake homing and "regular" acoustic torpedo behavior in Command, but I don't know enough about the topic to know what to look for. So, I can't post a scenario or even say that I think something is wrong. Just a question.

They are not explicitly modelled ATM, they behave as normal sonar-guided torpedoes.

Interesting.
Just for fun, this is what the Google AI had to say to the prompt "Are wake homing torpedos modeled in Command Modern Operations?"
I didn't mean this as an AI-bashing thread, but in light of Dimitris' response, this was just too funny:
Yes, wake-homing torpedoes are fully modeled in Command: Modern Operations (CMO). They are distinct from acoustic-homing torpedoes and represent a significant threat to surface ships due to their unique guidance logic.
Key features of wake-homing torpedoes in CMO include:
Guidance Method: Instead of searching for acoustic signatures, these torpedoes are designed to detect and follow the physical wake (bubbles and turbulence) left by a moving ship.
Engagement Pattern: They typically cross and re-cross the wake in a zig-zag or "S-turn" pattern, gradually closing the distance until they impact the target's stern.
Countermeasure Resistance: Because they do not rely on sound, they are immune to standard acoustic decoys and noisemakers that would distract traditional torpedoes.
Evasion Tactics: In the game, players often attempt to defeat them by stopping the ship to eliminate the wake or performing sharp turns to "break" the wake trail, though the effectiveness varies based on the torpedo's proximity.
Common Examples: The Soviet/Russian 53-65 series (e.g., 53-65K) is the most prominent example featured in the game's database.
Would you like to know which specific ship classes in the game have the best defenses against these torpedoes?
AI can make mistakes, so double-check responses

I'm sure the AI just saw wake Homer's labeled in the online DB details and then was like all "yes they are" and the grabbed all t h e home they work data online.

gAI tools tend not to have robust source quality as a primary component. Its literally, "if its on the internet, it must be true".

How far behind the ship (per speed, displacement etc.) does the wake persist'?
