I have watched Jochem's and also parts of Cannae's tutorial series and can't figure out why some of their AV values and even units that are available don't match mine even though I'm uisng the EXACT same scenario (tutorial version)? For example, at Mahon, Cannae's tutorial shows the Marx Bn with an AV of 9, yet mine is at 7? At Valencia Port, his total AV is 11 and mine is 9? When looking at Jochem's (both are Balearic Tutorial), he has 3 units that are mobile and ready to move on turn one at Fraga (I only have 1) and 5 units at Tarragona (I have 4). Same with Girona..I had 2 units and had 5-6 that were mobile. I have all of the aforementioned units, but for some reason some of mine are statice while his weren't...and yes, It was on the same turn for each? I've reinstalled the game and Jochem's case, he confirmed he's playing the same release version as I am.

EDIT: Just to show you what I'm talking about, note in my screenshot, Mahon has 15 AV and also there is no flag on Ibiza in the northeast town of Cala, while Canaae has 19 AV in Mahon and a flag in Cala.

EDIT #2: Here is the Carlos Marx Columna de Milicia for me and for Canaae. Note the different ID number (mine 91, his 75) and other minor differences like in supply.

Sorry, I couldn't add any more pics to the post, so here's another oddity. Note that even though we are both playing the republican side in the tutorial (only way you can play it), my base flag at the top is the nationalists while his is correctly the republican. In any case, I'm going to redownload and reinstall and see if it changes anything. I reinstalled without a redownload and it was the same.

EDIT: did a completely new download and install...same issues. Really weird.

Dunno if thats the case, but have you checked the version of the game they are playing?
Launch game is 1.0.0 ( build 165.49.0) as you can see in the upper corner of the launch game screen. If those youtubers show the screen when launching the game.. you could see if they using this version. If they arent .. there can be differences among builds.

When you are looking at the on the map AV, you are looking at the AV of all of the devices in that hex. Which is why I prefer that to NATO unit counters.

If you look at the AV on the unit screen, it may differ from what is showing on the map.

Ok, I will check that. Stil, that in some of my photos posted it compare supply levels on exactly the same turn that differ. It also doesn't explain why my game is showing the nationalist flag on the base button when I'm playing republican? I can't get my head around how we are playing the same scenario, same turn and same version of the game, yet have different values in unit cards and different status (mobile vs. static)?

Is this the very beginning of the game or have you run at least one turn?

I am following both tutorials to the letter. All of these differences are from turn 0 initial setup phase. None are show stoppers, just a bit weird. The wrong flag is really weird. Could you do me a favor and boot up the tutorial and check the values I listed in my first post against your own? If yours/mine are the same, then I would assume both these guys did something different.

Ok ours match, so perhaps he didn't start exactly at the start as he stated. I'm going to assume that's the same with the other unit descrepencies as well. However, it still doesn't explain why I have a nationalist flag on the base button when Im' playing republican and they both have republican.

Unless he is playing a slighter different version that he had access to before.
