Movement order “planning” doesn’t match the real movement.

So I had my Columna 16,80/18,40 from destination, and I thought that I could had Cordoba to the path, I could attack with a shock attack triggered by the river crossing next turn or in 2 turns while I had the other nacionales units to the north “busy”. Maybe I wasn’t seen all units inside Cordoba but I wanted to try.

I clicked on the set destination hex, overed my mouse on Cordoba and the planned moved was the one in the screenshot.

But when I clicked on Cordoba the result was this other. So l lost the 16.8 movement I had towards the hex next to Cordoba and now I don’t know if I’ll be able to reach Cordoba in 2 hexes, that I was planning to, or 3.

Why my Columna didn’t stick to what the planning “phase” told me? It the planned movement showed it had been the one that my unit finally took I would have done different (maybe with a ctrl + hex by hex).

Maybe because of weather effects like a mud?

Try holding the "shift" key when you change orders like that.
