I invaded Portugal as Spain

Took Lisbon, Portugal surrendered

But now all my troops in Portugal are out of supply and i cannot move them? Including German


in addition none of my italian or german land based air units can bomb the UK fleet east of gibralter, and i cannot figure out why? is it possible i can't fly across spain all of a sudden?

Same game - earlier. I cannot attack the other fleet and this is the error message - strange.
(it is possible that I forgot to declare war - even then it is a strange message)

Dunno how much earlier but I did have to declare war on the US as Germany last turn?

So only Spain is at war with Portugal?

If so that is probable something I didn't think about. When a major power DOWs all the minors it is attached to also DOW. But I never thought a player would just DOW with a minor power.

i think that's exactly what happened

i've tried declaring war on portugal now with germany/italy, but for some reason (maybe because the cpu thinks portugal has been conquered) at the beginning of the next turn they show not at war anymore

i was actually able to extract the german mech unit, but the 3 spanish corps and the HQ element can't move at all, which is a bummer

Go back a couple turns if you have the game saved. Next update I will look to remove minors from DOWing. They shouldn't be.

Man... This is 100% a bug. I will resolve next patch.

If you know when you DOWed on Portugal I may be able to delete all the games after and let you redo it.
