I am getting crazy-good results so far from the use of Armored Trains. The MG Wagons have a huge anti-soft value, and so far they are making mincemeat of light infantry formations. Is this your experience?
They are obviously stuck on rails which is a major limitation, but good gravy, me amor a los trenes blindados!

Just be careful moving a RSV unit containing devices requiring rail movement via the follow mode.
I ran into an issue where my units were in "combat" mode and I wanted to move the stack of units and of course set others to follow, including an RSV unit that was lost among the 4 lines of unit counters. And for some reason during turn execution all units switched to strategic move mode and started packing up.
In short, move those RSV units separately.

I've been trying to balance armored trains for a long time.
And to estimate and test their usability.
I'm glad you're using them.
They are fairly accurately assembled in the game according to the Spanish publication.
But you can change their composition by manually replacing devices.
There are also several heavy artillery railway units on the Republic side later.
