Looking for Japanese Opponent Bottlenecks Mod
Posted: Tue Feb 10, 2026 4:09 pm
I've got one game of the next to the last version of the Bottlenecks mod going and it's at 5/43. I've lost Oz (all of it) and lost via sudden death (which we ignored) and will fight on, and I would like to start another game to try to see if I've learned anything from my current thrashing.
In that mod there are lots of goodies I like (rescuing civilians, nurses, etc). I did not notice problems in industry on the Allied (need for supplies to repair industry in the US and need to haul massive numbers of resources) side that I'd like to try to address in a new game and with the latest version. My opponent has promised a rematch, but I don't want to wait, we are only 1/2 through the current game. And playing both sides single player is exhausting.
I'm playing one of the top Japanese players now, and I am currently outclassed. If you would like to try the bottlenecks mod against a moderately talented Allied player let me know. I usually can do a turn a day, sometimes 5 or 6 and sometimes none for a few days, but generally two per day after the first few turns.
And if someone could figure out how to port any sort of AI to the bottlenecks Mod I hope they would do so. BTW, I am especially pleased with the Map in the Burma/India region and how it changes supply/transport issues.
