Here is my largest loot artillery unit, it is a nice brigade.

They are hammering away at a large Nationalist stack that is attacking a base in the Norte, the enemy quit attacking my anvil since the hammer is really beating on them! :twisted:

nice! you must know the ins and outs of capturing equipment from those wandering artillery units.

I'm horrible, and lazy, at using captured equipment.

Do you have a save of just prior to these battles ?
Such thing can happen if the defender is overstacked and cannot retreat, and lots of wounded or low XP recruit troops take a beating with no escape route.
If it is a hex in the open where the defender can retreat it would be odd to see such high losses.

no save, too many turns played have passed.

This screenshot is the location they surrendered at. I played whack-a-mole for a bit as they bounced from base to base until I guess they finally go stuck and lost all hope.
