Straggler Chasing makes v1.06.98 Unworkable

Hi Simovitch,

Thought I'd play on a bit further but it seems a bit of a waste of time due to the chasing stragglers issue. Had several hundred Italian and German acft waiting near Rome for an incoming allied raid. Bounced an unescorted B26 Gp with 0ver 200 acft; first contact was by 24 x Macchi 202s which shot down 1 and damaged 2. Next pulse 113 acft were after 2 x B26. Two minutes later after committing the rest of the interceptors I had 132 acft chasing a group of 3 x P38s that had been damaged by a Stab of 4 x 109s :( Sorry mate I know you are working hard on this but it sure isn't fixed in this version and makes it a bit pointless as an axis player to go on. I will await the next iteration. For your consideration and many thanks as always.

That's a bit harsh, I would like some more opinions. There is too much variability going on and it will take more than one adverse report for me to ever revisit the code again. Unless it's a real game-stopper this is the end of the line. Sorry.
