when playing uv, major 6 to 10 second lag after clicking on buttons. This trouble mentioned in differnet messages, I have tried all the solutions with no luck. I had luck with Eagle day and Witp with DXWND. Still tweaking it for UV but havent found the right answer. Anyone who has had luck with this fix please let me in on the secret. Thanks for any help to get this masterpiece running smooth again ; I also posted this on the UV forum down below

I use DXWND and there is no lag. These are my settings. I have a 1920 by 1080 screen.

thanks, I've read all the fixes and tried them all, no luck so far, wasnt sure of all the tweaks you did to DXwnd

No. Just what you see in the image. Are you patched up to version 2.50 which is the latest update even though it's from 2007.

I resolved my trouble, I had to had a file DDrawcompat 7.1 to the uv folder, speeds it all up now ; thanks for your input

Congrats on fixing it. Enjoy the game. It is still worth playing all these years later.
