Is AI teasing me?

It is turn 23-07-36 in my main campaign scenario with 165.52. I have seen a nacional unit in a spot it surprised me. I went to load the previous turn and that same unit was 2 hexes away.

So I switched sides and checked that unit with nacionales in those same 2 turns.

If my maths don’t fail me and the “reverse” move I did with the nacional unit to check what was the movement cost to cross the hex in between the 2 turns is accurate, that unit has moved in one turn:
41,60-29,20= 12,40 remaining to go from first hex to second.
22,80 to full cross hex second
15,60-12,80= 12,80 already moved in third hex towards the fourth one
----------
48 movement points in one turn!.
Is that correct? If it is I wanna know the diet of those soldiers to try to apply to mines. And if they are teasing me I want them fired by treachery!.

PD: I mean.. out of my head anything that cost more than 20 movement points to move to next hex it takes more than one turn to my foot units to acomplish. And those Requetes it is not like they are Legionarios.

Talking about the issue…. These HQ units in Madrid it seems like they forgot they are static for a bit.

But then they realiced they were indeed “static”.

So I thought I had a nacionales batallion “trapped” in Sodupe hex 101, 58, just in case and though, as far as I undertand the game, the only hex where that batallion could retreat was Amurrio 101, 59 I put my unit already in Amurrio with an ambush order to try cover a possible retreat to hex 100, 59. Fine, fine, fine… lets go next turn.

It looks like I pushed back the enemy unit in Zarate 102,61, they began retreat towards Vitoria.
It looks like there was no fight against the unit in Sodupe cause they were moving towards Amurrio.
Now comes the funny part… the nacional unit moving towards Amurrio conquered the “undefended” base …… The question is … Where the heck did my unit there go?????? Why the heck they left Amurrio and moved towards Zarate??? I could undertand if they had tried to ambush the unit retreating from Zarate… but those went towards VITORIA, to the other side…

Has anyone an explanation about what could have happened there?? I am all annoyed about the issue.

Another movement that no clue how they have done.´The nacional engineer unit has gone from hex 1 to hex 2 across my lines. They have moved either gazillion movement points surrounding my units ( like 4 hexes) in one turn or ignored my ZOCs. I cant find another explanation.

Here are the turns where the issue took place.

All troops are on vehicles which travel faster than marching or walking.

They may have had enough movement points already used so they had almost crossed one hex and into another hex, so they would appear to move faster than normal when they actually moved at the rate that they were supposed to move.
