Game Stopped Loading

Hopefully someone can help. Was out of town over night and came back to computer being off. When I restarted it and tried to play WIP-AE it I now get the following error message "Error: Can't Set Screen Mode". Any ideas as to what went wrong and how to fix it? Any help would be very greatly appreciated. Thank you.
