Despite buying, downloading ,and play the game on day one. So it said uninstall and redownload. I tried all venues of uninstalling and redownloading. But every time it says I have a previous version of the game please uninstall it???? So how do I fix this? And why did my game did not just say update VS becoming invalid?
The loader say please uninstall the previous version. But when I hit uninstall nothing happens. I have preformed a custom full scan of my computer and hard drives. According to the full system scan War in Spain is not on my computer???
But I can not download it as it says there is a previous version and uninstall button does nothing????

And yes I turned off all anti virus software and even my VPN?

If you have a program to clean the registry, use that to remove any reference to the game.

I use Fortect to clean my registry same effect. I can't be the only one this is happening to?

No, you are not the only person. Which is why I suggested what I did. I use CCleaner but not the latest version 7 because it didn't work as good nor appear to do as much as the earlier version.

Thank you! Which CC cleaner do you use? I know all these problems are temporary, but I had cleared my weekend to play.

I use version 6.39.11548.

Thank you for everything. I am just going to have to wait for their official fix. This is certainly frustrating! What do you think of the game so far?

It is great!

But check the registry for any entries for WIS because that just might be the problem and it won't be taken care of by an update since it is on your machine.

The game installed worked fine. I held off on playing till my friend visited till yesterday. then my desktop icon only showed letter and not the emblem. When I clicked to open it said my game was invalid. How can this be my machines fault?

Try running the game from the .exe file in the folder. If it works then your shortcut may be bad. That happened to me. So I fixed it by creating a new shortcut and placed that on the toolbar.
