Question about accuracy loss settings (in editor)

The setting of "Accuracy loss" is placed in Research windows (cf attached image)
It should logically be in "Combat data" windows
Is there any reason for this ?
(in other terms, is there any relation between "accuracy loss beyond the range" and research ?)

I believe that base range = the range set in the Combat Target Values, therefore the accuracy loss would apply to any research that increases the range of these units.

Thanks, I see what you mean : direct link with research about "strike range".
A cool feature would be to have this also for base strike range (actually, If you don't modify the strike base range by research, I suppose this feature about loss accuracy is without utility ; would be cool to have it also for base strike range)
In general terms, would be also cool to have the possibility to calibrate accuracy of units when they are set with capacity to fire at strike range > 1 (independantly of research)
