1941 Hong Kong RBv01
This is a remake of the scenario Hong Kong 1941. The objective was to configure the scenario so the Japanese Programmed Opponent would conclude the battle with an amphibious assault on the island of Hong Kong. The basic problem was that all Japanese objectives are port hexes and when ports are defended by the British player the PO will not attack. This results in the Japanese PO being confused, remaining on the mainland and an unsatisfactory conclusion to the game.
The revised scenario has multiple landing points and randomized objective tracks which should enable the Japanese PO to successfully assault the island and engage the British in battle. It’s not a perfect solution, but it will get the Japanese off the mainland and onto Honk Kong island. There are other graphical and TOAW IV changes which are explained in the scenario briefing.
