Basic Supply

Well been away for a while and still find odd things that I did not know. My impression was that basic supply was a max of 24 hexes and it actually had to be "travelable" hexes...but from what I am seeing it just has to be 24 hexes. So it can go over a 20 hex mountain range if it is just owned by the suppier...
Is that the case?

I believe so. You barely get any supply though.
The order of supply loss in WW2 is.....
fuel
munitions
food being last to not be sent.

Well my example is Germans in Persia...all the Germans are in full supply...and the Italians in the ports are in basic.
I have tested it a few times.
I just was not aware that the supply can follow an unsuppliable route, basically up over the mountain range.
Yes I just started playing again and forgot SO much so things are slowly coming back. Sadly to late for the game I am in.
I just found it odd that all the unit furthest away from the ports are in fully supply and the ones in the ports are in basic.
