How do you open custom saved designs?!?!

It just say file not found!!!

It is exported according to the game to the following folder.

...\Documents\My Games\Rule the Waves 3\Custom Files

And why on earth can't I open a prototyped design for editing if I made some mistake on it, make zero sense to me from a gameplay perspective... I don't want to start building a ship from a faulty design I just prototyped and I don't want to completely redesign it either from ground up?!?

What mode are you trying this for?

Not sure what you mean... I just try to export and import the designs from the game?!?

I can "export" the file and the file goes to the ...\Documents\My Games\Rule the Waves 3\Custom Files folder... when I try to load the file by pressing the "Load ship design" button and choose a custom design the game simply give me the error of "File not found".

I can however use "stock" and then manually go to the ...\Documents\My Games\Rule the Waves 3\Custom Files folder... and load the file just fine... but this is a very time consuming way to open saved designs.

We've noted that there's a bug that may be causing issues in the game where it's looking in the incorrect place. We're expecting to release an update that hopefully resolves this issue very soon. Please keep your eyes open for it.

I just finished my last campaign and so I updated the game to start the new one. I ran into the same issue in this mode too, is the fix still pending or did I missed something ?

I'm just a regular gamer, not a dev. I can confirm that this issue is not fixed.

I am running V. 1.01.38 in Win11Pro.
In the Ship design window, I click on the file folder icon in the upper center of screen that has a "Open existing design" tooltip. This generates a small window labeled "Confirm", with the question "Open stock or custom design?"
The window has three buttons: "Stock", "Custom", and "Cancel"
The central button, "Custom, is *not* functional -- it issues a error window "File not found".
I did a standard install of RTW3. The central button is not looking in the right place.
I need to use the Stock buttom to maneuver over to my Documents folder tree to find my Custom saved designs.

I hope this detail will help resolve the issue very soon.

I really like the DLC tools. So much so, I don't play the campaign mode much anymore.

In my case the Stock and Custom buttons lead to the same error message, probably because I don't have the DLC, juste the regular 1.01.38.

I can confirm that my Ship Designer--Custom button does "File not found". In the folder:
C:\Users\dmilb\Documents\My Games\Rule the Waves 3\Custom Files
I do have 5 .sdf's and 16 folders holding submitted scenarios.
I can reach them by using the Stock button, and then the GUI window to maneuver over to my Custom Files folder
