While playing on scenario 006 - December 8th 1941 The Full Campaign (solo) just wondering if anyone ever used Betty Bombers on a long trip at night missions? I dont think i have ever done this before.

Curious if that is worth it? Any tips?

I imagine a lot depends on the type of mission. Naval attack, airfield strike, port attack or city bombing. My own experience with hitting airfields at night with most Japanese bombers is that between the relatively small payloads, getting lost in the dark and often poor weather they don't deal out much damage. Even B-24s toting ten 500-pounders each rarely do that well unless on a good moonlit night and flying in large numbers. And of course, at long range you have even fewer bombs to drop.

Thanks Bo, the reasons i brought this up cause the AI usually send B-17s harass my airfields at night when i put a fresh CAP there during the day. Trying to protect the important resources around it. So i though about doing the same thing too with those betties.
