Movement calculation broken in China

Hi all,

in my current match I noticed several times that units were able to cross at 1 AP cost where they never should be able to do this.
In the following link this can be seen.
Additional info: The unit had 3 AP at the start. Made a prepared attack -1, swapped -1 and then could have moved into mountains.

I consider this a bug and tried not to abuse it.

There is a bit of code in there that if a unit is completely stuck, e.g. cannot move anywhere, and not because of enemy units (I believe), just stuck due to supply level and terrain, then it will be given a minimum 1 AP movement in any direction, to get it unstuck.

I'm guessing this is what is happening here

I see, thanks for the reply.

These are not units totally out of supply but maybe the same mechanic takes over.
At the timestamp where the video starts it can be seen, that the unit in question has a supply of 7.
After initial attack and swap it ended up with 1 AP and was able to reach a hex that should have been impossible to reach.

This happened numerous times all over the place to me.
I tried not to abuse it for fairness reasons but it most certainly could be abused.

Correct, it doesn't necessarily have to be a supply value of zero, just sometimes supply level factors in plus terrain where it cannot move at all due to reduced AP.
