Can someone please provide guidance as to how one removes techs from the tech tree? I want to remove certain techs and all subsequent techs that relied on it. Thanks.

Got it working by using a tech later in the tree as a prereq for the earlier tech, and the game cooperated by taking them all out of the tree.
