this mod allows you to play with realistic, or if wanted, semi realistic rates of fire for ships of the 1900-1970s

This mod fits 1910s and 1940s scenarios such as guadacanal scenario or a jutland esque scenario, as it makes the engagements much faster, as they were in real life.
you can now sink kirishima in 5 minutes with washington as was done historically, as an example, but watch out, the enemy can do the same to you if they get the jump on you.

"medium" lethality is between vanilla and IRL using 0,1 conversion rate of rough irl ROF
"realistic" lethality is in game observed rate of fire and matching it to real life, the conversion rate is roughly 0,065.

To download mod insert either realistic lethality, or medium lethality gundata file into data folder, found in the rtw-3 folder.

Range is untouched, only increases rate of fire.

Explanation of charts below

adjusted for rof is found by dividing rof goal by conversion rate
so for 10" gun using 0,065 conversion (closest to irl)
2,15/0,065 = 33,07
rounded to closest is 33

conversion rate was found in game through testing, varies between 0,5 and 0,8 depending on factors like damage taken by firing ship, straddling or deliberate fire, conserving ammo, low or high crew skill, etc

example of how this was done

1,4 rof reached in battle at 20 rof in files with average positive and negative bonuses in 1935
1,4 rof / 20 in files rof = 0,7 conversion rate of in battle rate of fire to in file rate of fire.
