AI unable to strike with fighter aircraft in campaign

Testing with carriers in scenarios had led me to discovering what i suspected

AI is unable to use fighter aircraft to strike with on carriers, they cannot use torpedoes, they cannot use bombs, and they cannot use rockets, despite that technology being unlocked


Additionally the "fighter-bomber" in the scenario editor is nothing but a renamed torpedo bomber, it level bombs and cannot glide bomb, it cannot use rockets

"fighter-bomber" is usable by the AI



Below is the test scenario i used to test various things

Akagi class is an unarmored 120 plane carrier
kouryu is an armored 56 plane carrier

They have airwings bigger than their capacity in some cases and two classes are used to test armored carriers etc

adjust the two CAP Cycler aircraft with various bombloads, torpedoes, etc, no combination will make the fighter be used in strikes, and no combination will make the fighter-bomber not act like a torpedo bomber
