Wondering if FPV and Kamikaze drones are implemented in game ?
I see lots of UCAV drones but they are armed with weapon systems or for recon.
I don't think they are intended to crash into targets themselves ?
Tech is changing so rapidly it is hard to keep up.
If they are in game, are there any tutorials ?
Thanks

In the db look for "suicide" in the weapons and platforms sections and you will find them.

I don't think there are any FPV drones yet but there are OWA drones like the ubiquitous Shahed series implemented along with similar USV and UUV craft.

Please be aware those quadcopter drones need a helipad or an airport to take off.
It will not RTB after release the 40mm HE Grenade, you have to manually issue a RTB order, or waiting for the Bingo Fuel
They can fly the ASuW Patrol (but better to pay attention to the patrol/attack altitude)
they won't take off with the strike mission.

Did a quick test with the terrorist armed drones.
Used single unit helipad and single unit airfields.
Tried patrol and strike missions. Aircraft hangar as a target for the strike. Hangar set to auto-detect. 20 nm from my field.
The aircraft take off and land immediately so I must be doing something wrong.
Didn't have much time so will look more closely at what I'm doing later

There are several quadcopter drone in the DB. One of them is bugged, which equipment you used?

It was under terrorist - armed drone. I believe there were two options.
I cannot say what the unit code was as I didn't save the scenario. (It only had a single unit base , a drone and a target)
All the other UAV's in the database are armed with weapons and are not suicide weapons.
At least I think that is the case.

I tried to simulate a fpv drone, so common in the Ukrainian war and now in Africa and Lebanon, adding a 4 kg explosive to a quadcopter, and indeed it explodes
Against an Inf Platoon of russian paratroppers will cause no harm but to itself. The same happens with 18 kg suicide charge.
You need the 150 kg terrorist bomb, that will cause the complete destruction of the infantry Plt. Of course it is not realistic for a quadcopter to transport such weight.
Not sure this is WAD or not.
Usually these drones kill one person and indeed this can be simulated if instead of a platoon you use a stranded personnel, that is just one person, he will be killed with 4 kg of explosives.
I think there is no explosive that is anti-air, so cannot be simulated an impact on a helicopter or other drones?

Better to simulate the FPV drone as munitions.
Consider it as a type of man-portable dual purpose loitering missiles.
