SLAR (SAR) performance in-game

Specifically referring to later MiG-25R variants, was their SLAR really this effective IRL?
From what I saw from (albeit sparse) Russian-language sources, they had at best 7-10m resolution (talking about Shompol specifically, in-game it's called ''Tompol'' for some reason), yet in this game their performance seems kinda weird, they detect everything at almost maximum range, no issues, nothing escapes their gaze.
Sabla which is an earlier radar deployed on MiG-25RBS performs the same, despite being an older system, though I can't find any data for it.
For example, you place an M109 battery at their extreme range (40nm), and they detect it in seconds.
Are the sources wrong? Or is this area of the game not yet adequately modeled?
Cause I highly doubt 1970's/1980's SAR installed on tactical aircraft could detect such small targets so easily at such extreme ranges.
