Too much intel

In PBEM game(v1.8.11.28.4), during resolution phase as Japanese player I got this message(got it on more US CVs). While I will be more than happy meeting now US carriers, that would probably result in glorious victory for Empire, but I really doubt one should get this kind of intel on opponent.

Weird place to park Lexington.

If he's the J player, where are all of the units?

And can you ever have too much intel on your opponent ;)?

But seriously, something doesn't seem right.

Edit: Anyone know if this has been reported as a bug in 28 (or something similar weird display issue) ?

It's in the turn resolution phase so the screen does not show units or ships that are not in combat at the moment.
Only time I have seen that kind of enemy intel displayed is in a Head-to-Head setting. Maybe a Computer Both setting also does that?
