With tax season behind me, I'm back full time on to fixing these annoying glitches and getting the last patch out. I've made good progress, and apologize for the delay and leaving you all with a broken game.
AI Intercept bug: trying to find out why the zerstörers love to break off the attack to follow single flights of escorts back to England has been a real challenge. It must be a very subtle glitch but I think I know what is happening now, and I will address this before the weekend. The upside is that during the process I also noticed that sometimes interceptors would follow but never engage their targets. I found that bug and those intercepts are working good now. Other improvements to the AI intercept code is working fine and I think you will like the way it plays out when I'm finished.
Fuel/endurance bug: I fixed this issue were subsequent intercept missions were not refueling their droptanks.
Shuttle bug: These used to work great but I broke something a few HFX's ago. I think this will be an easy fix.
All of these bugs were caused by me trying to fix other things in the past. The code is very complex and inefficiently structured but I'm confident that I will have a smooth running legacy release soon.
