Mouse hints misplaced in high ultrawide resolutions

Hi,
I reported this issue a few years ago shortly after War Plan Pacific release, rising it again in a hope that it can get another look from the developer - it still affects latest game update, as well as its older brother (War Plan):
the problem is that mouse hints in the main menu (but not in the game!) are misplaced by a lot in high ultrawide resolutions (5120x1440, 3440x1440 etc); see the screenshots - in all cases my mouse pointer (not captured by the screenshot tool) was placed in the top-right corner of "New game" button; the 1920x1440 screenshot is an example where the hint is placed correctly. It seems as if whatever calculation the hint positioning is using, it misbehaves in non-standard resolutions. Fullscreen/windowed mode makes no difference.
It's just a minor annoyance of course, but perhaps trivial to address.
