How does one completely destroy an annoying pirate faction?

I'm over appeasement. I'm fine with all the others, this one just gets on my nerves and I destroyed their pirate base,

But they are still attacking?

Are there planetary bases?

Do you have a save showing the situation? Ideally from before you destroyed the station and after.

Maybe you can find things of this pirate by ingame editor?
