[1.31h] Game spams "Indignation over Opulence" events every single turn

(Republica DLC).
The game has been generating 1 or 2 events that react to the Leaders social standing feats (Crony CEO, Private Palace, GR Timepiece, etc) every single turn for the last 10+ turns. These are expensive events to handle - 2 of the options cost 12PP, and all the options have significant effects on leader/public opinion, virtus.
I like these events in principle, and they allow you to steer regime profile and opinions in various directions, but this is way too spammy in my opinion.

A few turns later, and I just dont get to play the rest of the game by now.
I get 3 of these decisions per turn, which consumes almost all of my PP budget.
Turn 96 - 3 decisions (3*12 = 36PP to respond and maybe a few more PP to fix the relation hit)
Turn 95 - 3 decisions
Turn 94 - 2 decisions
Turn 93 - 2 decisions

Sort of working as intended. Note you got like 16 Leaders with Luxury and Crony SSFs... While your Virtus is at maximum! ... so basically you have 2 roads you can walk:
-confiscate/remove the SSFs with these Decisions, and get bad relations with your Leaders
-denie the demands, send in the troops, get Virtus down again, so people think its normal to have Leaders like this

Confiscating/Removing the SSFs doesn't help, they just buy 2-3 of those SSFs every turn anyway. I think I had a turn where a Leader bought Crony CEO at turn start and the people got mad at him the same turn.
This just becomes not a fun gameloop, where almost my entire PP budget is sunk into this (+plus fixing relation if confiscating SSF), and I can make no more decisions this turn. Maybe at least limiting those events to 1 a turn?
