Thought I would share this, the most successful Gallic revolt I have ever seen. All cities had full garrisons, plus Genua and Placentia are supposed to be hard to sway. Does Hannibal presence (on top of the army) further increase chances of revolt?

Guess now the route from Spain to Italy is open!

I don't think that Hannibal adds a specific bonus for his presence. The total Carthaginian strength is an important factor in determining the effects of the card. Same thing for Roman strength in field units. On top of all that, you seem to have gotten a very good roll.

I don't normally play this option on the first turn, even when I have it. This is another example of the players being smarter than I am!
