This may be an issue, but I'd like others to report in before I complete a ticket. Plus, this may have been reported before.

Simple Scenario: The WASP is sending helos and LCACs ashore on a cargo delivery mission. I set the computer to handle things.

With Build 1825 everything works fine.

With Build 1876, the helos work fine, but the LCACs do not. The LCACs arrive, and go through the process of off-loading. Then, the LCACs return hone. Their cargo is gone, but it is not on the map. It's missing.

To further test, I went as far as sending 3 helos in first, and they deposited Landed Detachment #701, #702, and #703, respectively.

Next I sent in the three LCACs. They off-loaded, and then departed, with no Landed Detachments.

Next, I then sent 3 more helos, and they deposited Landed Detachment #707, #708, and #709.

If you notice the numbers, it skipped from #704 through #706, and started with #707.

I believe that the program actually assigned landed the Landed Detachments from the three LCACs, but they are simply missing from the map.

Can someone try this out and see if I am correct? If so, I'll gladly send in a save. I'd like someone to try it with a clean scenario just to see if we have the same findings.

Caveat: I am not well-versed with Cargo missions, so it may be me that is doing something wrong, but I don't think so. If that was true, then the test with Build 1825, and the test with the helos with Build 1876 wouldn't be working.

There is a bug. They are landed in the other side of the world.

Yes, I tried it with B1877 as well, and it is indeed a bug.

After the Landing Detachment is deposited in the landing zone, you have to go and hunt the whole world to try and find where it actually went. Sometimes the land unit is found in the middle of the ocean. That's not good. <lol>

I'm not sure if you have logged this issue as of yet as I don't see a log number, but it is a legitimate bug.

After a cargo unit has been disembarked from a LCAC, it is not placed on the map where it should be. You have to search for it. In most cases, it's located half way around the world.

This only happens when it is dropped off by a boat. Cargo which is dropped off by air works fine.
