Desperately need a "Battle Royale" mode.

I'd really love to see a Battle Royale mode for the hard core players that would force a complete planet conquest.
An example - currently playing a Mayhem mode game where one of my opponents had a blessed start while I was hampered by the native wildlife. This major regime had a near certain win, just due to the rapidness of their development. However, later in the game I was able to catch up and eventually surpass that regime. However, it just bugs me to no end that, while I'm kicking his a$$, I get told every turn that he has won the game and I've lost.
Any chance we could have a checkbox for this option to force the elimination of all opponents for a win?
