Shore Bombardments: Too Powerful

I've come to the conclusion that ship to shore bombardment is too powerful.

The latest is this one; this is on the hex immediately SE of Orgiva (South of Grenada). It's a mountain hex 5 miles off the coast. I bombarded it with the 3 Republican Cruisers (armed with 6in guns). Here is the result:

TF 7 bombarding at 95, 133

Defender losses: 754 Casualties
Squads lost: 52 disabled, 34 destroyed
Vehicles lost: 5 disabled, 14 destroyed
Guns lost: 7 disabled, 16 destroyed
Units Destroyed: 0

I can do this every day, all day.......multiple times

I also bombarded Malaga, and torched the airbase to 98% Damaged in one run

There's no way this is realistic

1. Hitting targets with much accuracy 5 miles inland isn't feasible. And in a mountain hex, that should mitigate the damage.
2. Even hitting targets right on the water isn't that devastating; the IJN bombarded Henderson field a couple times, notably with 2 8-in gunned cruisers. While they did damage planes and cause damage to the airbase, they did NOT nuke it or shut it down, despite the fact that (with all apologies to the Spanish Navy), the IJN was MUCH better at gunnery marksmanship than either Spanish Navy, and had very highly trained crews.
3. This happened despite the Republican ships having very low experience levels, which is appropriate. Both sides had severe problems properly crewing their vessels (since most Naval officers were Nationalists, and the experienced crews were Republican). Under those conditions, any actual bombardments would be haphazard.

At any rate, this needs to be toned way down IMO

Thoughts?

Seems to me tbh that the Republicans need any advantage they can get so even if it's a bit unrealistic maybe leaving it is good. Would help keep the Northern Republic alive for instance.

IMO, the Republic doesn't need help. It can be rough the first 3 months, but thereafter the Republic has an advantage already.

And the Nationalists have ships that can bombard as well.....it's too powerful IMO
