Changing PBEM passwords

Is there a way to change the password for a PBEM in game? If not, is there scope for this being added? It'd be a lot less daunting for axis players to not have to repeat the dreaded t1 over and over and over.

There is no way to change a password once the game is started. Is the issue that the password has been forgotten? I'm not sure, but we might have a way to look at a save and determine the password. If this is the issue, and you have invested time in the game, you can contact me at

No, the issue is that the German T1 is both highly important (letting the Soviets break the pockets means at the very least the support units escaping, and a one-turn delay if you want to make sure the pocketed units surrender rather than rout) and highly complex, with massive detailed guides written about the sequence of attacks and moves that leaves the German side in the best position.
It is a difficulty hurdle for less-experienced German players. In a match between low-skill Soviets and Germans, a weak T1 may leave the Soviets with way more units to defend in 41. And handling an offensive is already more difficult than defending on average. This hurdle lessens the amount of rookies willing to play as Germany. If they were able to reuse an existing T1, this would be a boost to them.
