[FIXED] B1900.5 "Aggressive tile management" option does stick

Only documentation I found about this option is this:
– A new “Aggressive Tile Management” option has been added, for a smoother map zoom/pan experience if the GPU hardware supports it.
https://command.matrixgames.com/?p=6066

I have a RTX 3080 so I dont know if its supported or not.

But with that out of the way:
1) Tick the box for Aggressive Tile Management

2) Close the Options window

3) Open the same view and Aggressive Tile Management is no longer ticked.

Any other info required?

Meanwhile as a workaround to test the option, you may try editing Command.ini with Notepad, it is located in the Config folder.

False to True in this line and save. Do this while Command is not running.

AggressiveTileManagement = False

That’s exactly what I did—I modified the Commands.ini file. I launched the game, and the map tiles loaded instantly (using an MSI RTX 4060 graphics card). However, when I go to the game settings under the "Game Speed" tab, the checkbox appears checked but then immediately unchecks itself.
The next time I open the settings, the box is unchecked, so I have to go back to the Commands.ini file.

You are right. Command will modify the file even though you tick the box "Read only" in the properties of the file.
