Question for Bill and Hubert about modding of terrains tiles

During my (failed) work to adapt SC War in EUrope to the scale of the old Strategic Command 1, I noticed that there are 2 types of "ground tiles" :

CATEGORIE 1- Full ground tiles : these tiles do not accept ports and do not accept transport (embarkment or disembarkment, including amphibious)

CATAGORIE 2- Coastal tiles : there is 2 types :

* "A" type does accept ground unit to enter in (the hex are composer by ground and sea, often 50/50%)
* "B" type does not accept ground units to enter in (these hex have very small part of ground, they are essentially composed of sea)

My question is this : If I take a ground tile of the CATEGORIE 2 with sea at right and ground at left and if I modify the graph to set sea at left and ground at right (in other terme, if I reverse the graph), will this hex "accept" that ?

In other terms : if sea is at right in a hex and ground at left in a vanilla hex graph, I suppose that naval invasion will come only from right ; and that naval transport will start only by right (the side where is the sea)

But what would happend with this specific hex if I reverse the situation, and if I set graphically sea at left and groud at right ? Could I use it for naval invasion coming from the left and naval transport starting from the left ?

In other terms, are hex with some part of ground and some part of sea (CATEGORIE 2) indifferently usable by left or right ? (or by above / below) ; or are they specifically oriented to be used by sea at left if sea is at left on the graph, and to be used by sea at right if sea is at right on the graph, etc ?

They are largely indifferent, the really big factor being what actual land mass you connect these to, and if you don't connect it, then it is assailable from all directions.

Ok, thanks. It's important for what I want to do, because I have a lack of various hex in the north orientation and I would also take those wich have a south orientation, reversing them in graphs
