Anyone have an email for John 3rd they could PM me? I'm looking to start a new PBEM game, and my opponent is very interested in BTS. I PM'ed John but he hasn't been on since the 12th.

John mentioned something in his last AAR about moving(?) and being absent from the forum for a while. You may have to wait a few months. Getting settled after a move usually takes six months.

I do not know whether an updated version was released, the date of the files is 14 May 2020.

Is moving from the backcountry to the sticks an upgrade or a downgrade? 
Yeah, I was looking for the latest BTS upgrades, but my opponent and I moved out with stock Scenario 2. Thanks all.

But if you get far enough up in the mountains (or on the mountains) there are no sticks because there are no trees!

True. My guess is that John will shoot for the tree-line, but not higher.
