87 years ago today. If nothing else, the greatest gift to wargamers ever.

Lest we forget...lest we forget all the cool tanks, aircraft and ships. And the development of radar, jet engines, helicopters and the computer. Lest we forget the enormous campaigns and battles and that the baddies kick arse at the beginning but are ultimately destroyed.

It would be much more important to the remember the lives that were lost and the people who were horribly maimed - both physically and mentally.
