Hey! This is my first post on this forum and I've got a bug that I recently posted on the subreddit, and they directed me here.

I've recently noticed that centerline secondaries... don't seem to work often? I've built a few before and brushed them not working off, but it's gotten to the point that I have to ask; is something wrong here? Like, the centerline 4" gun just doesn't shoot. Not on this ship, not on any other cruiser I've made with a similar layout. Is this a bug, am I just building it wrong, or what?

I recall it not working on larger ships as well with twins, but I'm not 100% certain there, considering that's not recent.

I have not once seen "CL fires 4 4in guns!" with 3 side guns and a centerline. Or with similar designs. I also distinctly recall once building a ship with a centerline secondary 10" twin turret that simply didn't function.

I presume that the odd mounts are supposed to be able to fire to both sides, but currently they simply don't work apart from taking up weight/topweight.

Have to say, I'm not sure because I don't use them.

However, I think there are a couple of factors that can prevent a centreline secondary firing. The first is random chance that the gun cannot be brought to bear due to superstructure being in the way, the second is that centreline guns burn their ammunition out faster than broadside guns.
