Missing graphs ? + 1 install question

2 questions about, please :
1/ I will have to change my actual OS in some times. I have SC WW1, SC WITP and SC WIE (for all : Matrix version, with serial number, not version steam : I never buy on steam, only on Matrix)
Will the installation on my new PC be different from "ancien times" (I am a old modder
) : Just to lunch the install application program and to enter my serial number (or is there any additional another process ?)
2°/ I noticed a curious thing in SC WW1 :
Somes graphics are present in the "resource" file (attached image 1)
=> Graphs at the end of "resources" file :
But they seems not be used by the game (attached image 2)
Have I missed something ?
