Home of Wargamers 2026 is officially wrapped! Yesterday was a huge day for wargaming fans, we released brand-new DLCs, announced exciting new games, shared development updates on upcoming titles, and announced the new: Decisive Campaigns: Twilight in the East.
Another exciting announcement for hardcore wargamers and fans of Decisive Campaigns series: a new chapter, Twilight in the East, is in the works.
The developer, Victor Reijkersz, has talked extensively about how players will relive the operational battles of 1941 on the Eastern Front at an unprecedented scale and level of immersion, focusing on the campaigns of Army Group Centre while also representing the wider war in the East.
To watch the full interview:
The game features detailed artwork, with different uniforms and vehicle designs, seven ground conditions ranging from regular terrain to deep snow, six weather types, and a day-night cycle that add visual variety and realism.
The new installment expands the Decisive Campaigns series both in terms of its engine and content, while its integration of Slitherine’s PBEM++ system provides a more streamlined multiplayer experience. At launch, the game will include eight small scenarios, seven medium scenarios, three large scenarios, and one massive scenario. It will also feature the equipment and troop-type graphics needed to create scenarios covering the entire Eastern Front from 1941 to 1945, meaning modders can begin creating their own content without having to wait for future DLCs.
Finally, Decisive Campaigns: Twilight in the East will officially release on November 12th! Stay tuned for future dev diaries as we dive deeper into development.
