I am going to not use any AI player in the game for obvious reasons.

End of German Turn 1
Riga fell, advanced up coast for supply; will try to take Leningrad quickly or fake, Moscow!
Western Front surrounded just west of Minsk.
26th Army surrounded SW of Lvov.

First impressions with game:
Must buy; have theatre reserves for both Wehrmacht and Soviet Army off map reserves. Can possibly try German Army 1914 World War I option in reverse! Also, don't have to concentrate on saving a hand full of wagons and calling it a cadre.

Russian Turn 1
Weakly manning Dvina River line; don't expect to lass more than 2 turns near Riga. Weak line south of Dvina River to Svencioneliai. Second line south of Dvina River to Krichi.
Block railroads through Pripyat Marshes.
Raid to cutoff supply of panzer forces south of Lvov.
Maximum use of railroad capacity. Maximum N,T,E theatre reinforcement.
Built 41c Corps Artillery Regiments
41 Anti-Tank Battalions
41 Engineer-Sapper Regiments
41 AA Battalions
41 BM Howitzer Regiments
41 Machine Gun Battalions
41a Rifle Division
41a Gun Regiments

German Turn 2
Ventspils, last port in Courtland, is taken. Entire eastern bank of Dvina River east of Riga cleared (near Plavinas). Approaching Panevezys in Lithuania; Kaunas fell. Minsk fell; line shattered.
Bialystok pocket not quite eliminated; eastern part of pocket cleared for railroad supply. Swamps slowed down attack. Northern entrances from Pripyat Marshes secured.
Western pocket near Sambur still exists; Russia has its best troops in SW sector with lots of tanks. Tried to get a small pocket near Zborov; just missed success. Across Prut Rivers in force.

The game takes so long per turn that it actually plays solitaire quite well. One could even play one side per day if desired. Smarter general programming takes a lot of teamwork (logistics, river barriers, optimal movements with engineers, invasions, surprise buildups, etc. The real shame is that these software packages could be shared among different wargames having hexagons and standard mapping techniques. It turns out victory conditions typically fall into a very few number of categories: cities/population, casualties, and critical resource locations. The key is to be able to translate these, which may change with turn, into viable combined forces movements and combats. In strategic games, units can even be built. For example, troops need to move by water for invasions; hence proper coordination with various naval warship types, tactical, operational, and strategic air force usage, bridge head expansion via required reinforcements, replacement requirements, and short-term, medium-term, and long-term logistics are all needed, which would overwhelm a small software team. However, water is water, air is air, and terrain is terrain.

try to paste your 'Print Screen' into Microsoft Paint (or similar graphic program), save as png, bmp or jpg and attach as image attachment. choose 'Place inline' to add to your post. good luck!

btw, nice project! :)

Image didn't seem to work.
Print Screen tool doesn't open.

Russian Turn 2
Reserves trained behind Riga sector in anticipation of a breakthrough. Dvina River line will be outflanked by infantry on far side of river (not across). Line southward to Voropaevo.
Defending eastern section of Pripyat Marshes. Starting to build Dnepr line with reserves. Expect panzers will head toward Smolensk and Mogilev.
In south, Seret river is no primary line. A mechanized division linked up with three divisions in Lvov pocket but are 10+ hexes from main line.
In Rumania front, general retreat to Dnestr line. Are building several forts along Dnestr line to protect Odessa.

Turn 3 Continued

End of German Turn 3
Approaching Molskala; Courtland falls. Infantry moving with panzers so great encirclements just like in actual campaign. Approaching Rokiskis and Postavy.
Big bulge in Russian lines a few hexes west of Mogilev/Bykhov area in central Dnepr River area. Army Group Center infantry far behind near Priyat Marshes but marching along railroad. Battle for Dnepr River crossing will begin next turn. Slow advance in western Privat Marshes.
Tarnapol River crossed with 5 1/3 divisions isolated, including Stryi pocket. Expect Russian Army to make a major retreat eastward. This sector of front will now widen considerably. Sulina port falls in Odessa sector. Odessa is always hard to take on foot (w.o. panzers).

HAD TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES GENERATING PICTURES WITH LITTLE SLEEP.

End of Russian Turn 3
DISCOVERED THAT FINISH UNITS ARE NO LONGER DIRECTLY IN THE GAME AND IS
JUST A THEATRE. Built fortified units there.
Evacuated port of Kuressare; line starts at Parnu port. Tallinn sector is lightly manned since Narva River area is a swamp funnel. Line extends south to Davgavpils. Secondary line Pskov to Polotsk. Easter branch of Dvina held; line then extends to just east of Postavy. Berezino pocket/bulge is of great concern (Moscow). Idea is to keep Wehrmacht infantry from creating a big breakthrough, followed by panzers pouring in.
Central Priyat marshes weakly held. Orel Military District units had to be committed close to front so there is no uber central Dnepr river-fortress, yet. Obviously all three Russian sectors are now critical.
Almost out of southern Priyat marshes as part of a general withdrawal. It is vital to hug southern exits to prevent Wehrmacht flanking motion. No guerilla action possible outside of swamp either. Line now just west of Shepetovka-Proskurov-Yanolnitsky line. Probably next line close to Vinnitsa to shorten bulge. Southern part of bulge taking advantage of rough terrain. Orderly withdrawal to Odessa line with fortified units (Stalin Line).
There is in general a shortage of army headquarters; corps headquarters are going away. Army headquarters require a greater concentration of units, which hinders setting up a defense line. Three more army headquarters are due next year.

End of German Turn 4: July 13,1941
18th Army, Army Group North, infantry sent towards Tallinn/Narva funnel; line at Parnu. Main thrust towards Pskov/Lake Pskov area; whole section cleared out. Best approach appears to be through Pskov to Leningrad. Railroad lines to Riga; have 2 or 4 railroad repair FBD units there (one to clear area towards Dvina River and Moscow. Madona/Jekabpils/Postavy/Krivichi Line.
One unit across Dnepr River near Rogachev. Battle for Dnepr line begins formulary. Slowly advancing through Priyat Marshes.
Sarry/Kostopol/Rovno/Ostrog/Bazaliya line advance. Several divisions isolated in SE of that line, including using Rumanian cavalry and tank division! It works best if all Wehrmacht Panzer Divisions attack same small sector of front. Panzer Divisions typically have around 40/45 movement points compared to a maximum of 60 and are very fatigued. Foreshty/Orgaev/Krishnev/Jarabunary advance. Across Dnestr River with one Wehrmact unit (in south). Trying to create all Wehrmacht divisions in Rumania for punching power.

End of Russian Turn 4: July 13, 1941
Withdrawal to defend Tallinn/Narva River funnel approaches. Picket line ahead of main Pskov line. DON'T FORGET TO HEAVILY GUARD HEX 188,188 (SWAMP HEX)!
Reinforced Dnepr River Line on east side with available troops. Russian needs more divisions to guard the widening front, so built 4 infantry divisions this turn. Mogilev/Orsha crossing sites are on the road to Moscow, and they have not been taken.
Significant withdrawal in south without any attempt to relieve three pockets of isolated troops. Wehrmacht panzers have attacked for four straight turns without rest! Odessa defense line in good shape.
KEY CONDITIONS NOW ARE PANZER FATIGUE VERSUS LIMITED NUMBER OF RUSSIAN DIVISIONS.

End of German Turn 5: July 20, 1941
Took port of Parnu. Rested Panzer Divisions of Army Group North.
Adjacent to Moglev; four divisions across Dnepr River SW of Propisk!
Rested Panzer Divisions of Army Group South. Only two divisions in a pocket. Can now attack down eastern side of Orgeev River.
Almost all infantry divisions are significantly fatigued.
