You may recover a few GB deleting old db files.

If you are updated, CSP scenarios use v512, and the official ones even a more recent db.

Back up them first of course :)

i've removed the community pack and most of the dlc's. Still my pc is near implosion....

I used the compression program on DCS and it shaved around 35gb: still not sure it didnt break anything.

I will try in CMO and report back.

Have you deleted the scenarios? That cannot be done, what are you going to play? And they are small files.

What can be deleted are the old database files, and they mean around 3 GB.

I meant the community scenarios. But you are correct: even the dlc's are small potatoes, in disk size.

I compacted the folders: db, gis and ww>cache.

The cache folder turned out to be a bad move: the map views started to flash with zoom in and out. And i think the smooth moving of the icons started to stutter. I am going to uncompress that folder and verify game files.

Alltogether it saved 14GB of data.
