A new public beta is now available for War in Spain 1936-39. You can download it by going to the Store Page and from My Page. It is also available from the following Download Link HERE.

This build includes new additions to the UI and Events, and many bug fixes. More details in the changelog below.

User Interface

• Minor text position update for 4K

• Added naval bombardment to P-key combat report overlay. This type of action was not detected by the text reader

• AV display bug in the side bar for grouped units fixed

• New frames in scenario menu

AI

• Removed an issue that slowed AI script execution.

Events

• Added event type to make units temporarily static

• New event for main campaign: Fights in Barcelona (may 1937)

OOB

• Fixed a TOE upgrade issue.

Air Units

• Fixed an issue with unloading air units with no size from ships

• Fixed tiny exploit that allowed to send pilots to Ferry air units

Land Combat Units

• Fixed issue when giving global LCU orders and no combat groups were in existence

Naval Units

• Fixed cases where ship arrivals were shown as wrong nation when the ship owner was different from the ship class nation

• Fixed issue with TF chasing enemy TF when those are going off map

Combat

• LR barrage combat base is now set

• Fixed issue with LR barrage on hex with own artillery in it

CSV Import

• CSV import for german file formatting can now import unit names containing a ,

Data Changes

• More historical TOEs for both sides, resources at locations, and updates to train depots

Images

• 75 new images

Bug Fixing

• Typo errors

Does the beta comes with the new GC scenario and the additional Nationalist songs, or these will come later with the official release?

The update includes SCN011.
This SCN is an elaboration of the original SCN001, on which I spent about two years making modifications and conducting testing.

Good you mentioned it. Why isn't this info in the ReadMe file? I haven't noticed there is a new GC scenario.

Scenario 11 Introduction has several spelling errors.
Also the date format is inconsistent with the other scenarios i.e. DDMMYYYY.

Personally I prefer the European date method of DD/MM/YYYY, rather than MMDDYYYY.
