A question:

I installed WiTE 2 a second time on a different PC drive, but then deleted it.
Now, when updating to the new version, the installer keeps defaulting to that second drive, and I can’t seem to install it on the correct drive.

Is it actually possible to have two separate installations of WiTE 2 on the same PC without causing any conflicts?

AFAIR the installer reads the path from the Windoze registry. It may be possible to manually point it to the proper directory.
As for multiple installations just make a copy from the original installation.

Yes, I’ll give that a try.

However, I don’t think it’s possible to install two separate instances of *WitE 2*—each with a different version (e.g., 1.04.22 and 1.05.02)—on the same PC.
That was what I had intended to do, but it would likely cause conflicts (in the registry and with the launcher).

Or am I wrong?

Not install, but copy/paste like Denniss commented.

You can copy the complete folder of the game with the patch 1.04.22, and paste it in another folder, like for example "\Games"

And install the patch in the original.

It will work perfectly and is a simpler solution.

P.S. After making a change in the registry, everything was fine again.
