Hellooo !

I read in the guide:
"You can link your Scanner to a Squad mate that is in a different Team (split Squads)."

But when i play cooperative with a friend (i play Team 1, my friend Team 3) versus the computer (Team 2), the "Link Scan" action isn't available.

I think i have all the prerequisite to perform a link scan (scanner, ...), but maybe i do a mistake. The icon is always disabled.

Hope someone can help me

Do your titans have Line of Sight with your friend's titans?

yes, i tried to put my titan beside his own or on the same square but nothing, always disable

Squad mate means a mate in the same Squad
That sentence means if you split your squad into 2 teams (say 1 and 3), you can still link scanners between them.
You cannot link scanners to titans from other squads though, even if they're allied.

Notice the difference between Squad and Team.

Don't you think it could be a good enhancement to allow "Link Scan" between 2 Squads (Team 1 and Team 3 for example) ?

So, we could establish new tactics with a partner and increase gameplay in team coop

May be it's not too difficult to implement... developpers are you here ? :p

Yes, we are here... Well, I'm here, Larkin is back on Friday/Saturday...

Larkin will tell you the details about why it is not possible in this version of ToS:WS to link between titans of different squads, although they are allied.

I disallowed allied links as it would force me to add an option to refuse links from different squads. Otherwise your ally can block your own link attempts. I found problems arising would defeat the gain.
