download problems

having read the posts I decided to give this game a look see but have been frustrated by download problems. Download doesnt seem to be working at all at the moment. Previously started downloading succesfully but at 5kb/sec was going to take a long long time with no guarantee of success so I took the advice and downloaded get right. This doesnt seem to perform as advertised with frequent HTTP/FTP conflict warnings and cant appear to log on to matrix as it believes a pass word is required to access the matrix download site. Can anyone suggest a simple low risk download strategy for this games 360MB.
Yours in desparation.

Gavin, don't know about getright, everyone seemed to have an ok time with it, I used Gozilla, and worked fine? Maybe if the connection is slow all the time, ask one of the guys to maybe burn you a copy, think there are quite a few Aussie's out there, maybe they have a cd-burner? Good luck

Gavin - I know what you mean about slow d/l; I"m lucky to get 3.6 Kb speed, though in fairness I will say of Verizon (nee GTE) the connection is rock solid, I've done three hour d/l's with no problem.
Regarding conflicts you outline: Check the security levels you have set in your Internet Options module, there may be a problem there.
Also clear out any other active files such as virus checkers, get the startup down to Explorer desktop, perhaps rundll and maybe mouse software if absolutely necessary. This will at the very least verify the problem isn't with your system, or the results may be a pleasant surprise for you. Holler if you need help clearing the startup routine.
Good luck,
Bing

I am going to try deleting getright and downloading at 5kb/sec. Am looking forward to Canberra going all fibre as downloads will be 1mb per second with internet, digital tv, phones, radio etc all coming down the one pipe for A$20 per month. If the 5kb/sec doesnt work I might call for help with that cd.
Thanks
