How would WitP handle ship conversions to carriers (CV, CVL, CVE)?

Hi all,
Mogami (and some other WitP people) explained to us in general terms the way
ship building works in WitP - thanks!
But what about ship conversions to carriers (CV, CVL, CVE)?
Both USA and Japan did make conversions of various other ships to carriers
during the war pressed with necessity.
Examples:
In 1940-1941 Japan converted Taigei, Tsurugizaki and Takasaki to Ryuho, Shoho
and Zuiho.
Later they converted 3 luxury liners to create Taigei, Chuyo and Unyo.
In 1942 two other liners become Hiyo and Junyo
And, at last, there was Shinano.
The US had Independence CVL class where light cruisers were converted from
1942 onwards (I think 10 units altogether).
And, of course, there were numerous CVEs (and similar types).
Thanks for info in advance!

P.S.
I am still unable to play my UV PBEMs due to my family situation but I still
manage to browse through UV/WitP forums from time to time...

Ships which are earmarked for certain upgrades can be brought to a repair shipyard and entered back into the production pool for upgrade. When they reappear, they will appear with modifications.
If it is a ship that entered service in it's upgraded mode, like the mentioned Japanese CVs, then it will just begin the game at it's normal arrival time in the upgraded mode.

Will the player be notified of this?
I really miss this in UV and hope to see some message in the game or have acces to some list with dates in the game or in the manual.
Because, this player simply don't know when radar type xx or AA upgrade becomes available for those ships and certainly not for ships like the Akagi, Kaga etc (assuming here they are still afloat in 1943-45)

What about ships like the Chiyoda & Chitose that were AV & CS type ships that were converted over to regular carriers. Will they have to go through the repair yard process or will they disappear at some point to be brought active at the point they became CV/CVL/CVE?

It will be based on the historic date that the ship underwent conversion, but I'm not sure whether a message will prompt the player when it is available.

These ships will be treated in the same manner, as well as the Japanese BB float plane tender fiascos.

Mogami told us here that it will be possible to speed up production of ships
by assigning "ship building points" and thus move some ship building
before/after historic dates.
Why this same scheme is not possible with ship conversions to carriers (i.e.
it would be good for Japanese player to increase his CV/CVL/CVE fleet as soon
as possible by doing the conversions earlier than historic)?

I am speculating, but I would say that ship conversions will also be speeded up because they go into the same ship building queue as ships under normal production. This is accessed in the same ship availability information screen as it does now, but that may be changed.
Mogami is correct in that you can speed up ship buildings by halting production of other projects ahead of it in the schedule. There are two ship building queues, for merchant and naval ships, which can be independently controlled and run on the merchant and naval shipyards production points generated each day. There are also repair shipyards, and I dont know if the upgrades will use repair points or naval build points, and this might affect whether these upgrade ships will appear in the naval queue and be under player control to speed up.
Thanks again for info and insight!
